Blessed with 20 acres of divine outdoor spaces, the Convento do Espinheiro Historic Hotel & Spa offers a range of leisure facilities both inside and outside this unique resort.

Indoor Pool

Enjoy the 17-metre indoor pool or relax in the Jacuzzi whilst admiring the magnificent views of the convent gardens. There is also a Turkish bath and sauna. Children under 16 are not allowed in the indoor pool between 1pm and 7pm and swimming caps are required.

Outdoor Pool

Enjoy our magnificent outdoor swimming pool, a true haven of tranquility in the natural surroundings of Convento do Espinheiro. With stunning views over the gardens and the Alentejo landscape, our pool is the perfect place to immerse yourself in serenity and enjoy the sun.

Gym

Enjoy a fully equipped gym designed with you and your well-being in mind. Give your best while you train with a privileged view over our gardens. This space is not for children under 12 years of age.

Tennis and Padel Courts

Convento do Espinheiro offers excellent facilities for playing tennis and paddle tennis. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Alentejo, our courts provide the ideal setting for moments of leisure.

So that you can fully enjoy the peace that Convento do Espinheiro offers, we have a children's playground with various attractions, where you can let your children play and have fun.

Pet Friendly

Your best friends are also welcome at Convento do Espinheiro. We have everything you need for your four-legged friend to come and spend their holidays with you.
