Gastronomy & Wines
When it is said that Alentejo gastronomy revolves around bread, olive oil and aromatic herbs, it seems too simple.
But the knowledge to make it is ancestral. The recipes have been handed from generation to generation and with them, the secrets that bring food to it’s maximum power and exuberant flavours. The Alentejo offers you an unforgettable palatal experience with red wines of loaded colours, firm structure with dense aromas of mature fruits and with great persistence. For white wines you can count on fruity, intense aromas with plenty of structure.</ P>
To experience these pleasures can be so perfect that justifies many trips to the Region. One is not enough. If you want to taste it fully you will have to do like we do it in Alentejo: eat and drink according to the season.
